River Rock

In Bali, river rock is an embodiment of the island's deep-seated connection with nature, artfully used in various aspects of Balinese architecture and design. Known locally as "batu kali," these naturally smoothed stones are harvested from the riverbeds and streams that crisscross the tropical landscape.

Lava Stone

Indonesian lava stone, also known as "batu candi," is a highly durable natural stone formed from the rapid cooling of volcanic lava flows. Predominantly found in the volcanic regions of Central Java and Bali, this stone is treasured for its robustness, porous surface, and dark grey to black coloration. It is commonly used in construction, sculpture, and as a popular material for traditional Indonesian temples, reflecting a harmony between the area's artistic heritage and its volcanic geography.

Terrazzo

Terrazzo is a composite material, consisting of chips of marble, quartz, granite, glass, or other suitable materials, poured with a binder that is either cementitious or polymeric. Once the binder sets, the surface is ground and polished to a smooth finish, revealing the colorful specks of the aggregate within.
